Steps for editing an initial message
Once your campaign has been launched, you can still go in mid-campaign to edit your initial message. You can do this by pausing your active campaign.
NOTE - Users cannot access their assignments or send messages while a campaign is paused.
To edit your initial message, from the sidebar, click Campaigns > Active, or from the dashboard, click "View Active Campaigns." Then open the campaign you wish to edit and select "Pause" from the campaign management menu:
Then select "Script" from the menu bar at the top of the screen:
Edit the initial message to your liking and then click "Update Script":

NOTE - If using an MMS approved use case, you can change your SMS initial message to an MMS initial message (or vice versa) when editing as well. Check out our How to Add MMS to Your Initial Message guide for details on that process.
After you are satisfied with your updated initial message, click "Unpause" to make your campaign active again:
If you have message senders currently working on an assignment, be sure to have them refresh their browsers so they can see the updated script.
NOTE - If you pause an older campaign, you may need to add the Organization Display Name and Opt Out Language to the campaign and the initial message before unpausing.
