Overviews of Campaigns
ThruText campaigns can have four different statuses: Active, Draft, Paused, and Archived. Users can expand the campaigns dropdown menu from the left-side navigation menu to see the different pages for the different types of campaign statuses.

Active Campaign Index Page
On the Active Campaign Index page an admin can view all campaigns in the 'Active' state.
- An 'Active' campaign is one in which messages can be actively sent.
- Users will be able to see active campaigns in their Texting Assignments.
- Admins can find specific campaigns with the search filter
- You can sort the columns by clicking on the arrows next to the column headers.
- You can open an active campaign to navigate to its Details page.
- Click the three vertical dots under "Details" to Archive, Clone, or View, a campaign.
Campaign Icons
To the left of campaign names, there are icons that indicate the status of your active campaigns.
Clicking an icon will reveal a message with the following descriptions:
- Calendar: Campaign is currently scheduled.
- Lightning Bolt: Campaign is currently bulk sending.
- Checkmark Circle: Campaign is currently active.
- Exclamation Triangle: Campaign will be auto archived in X days.
Draft Campaign Index Page
On the Draft Campaign Index page, admins can see all campaigns in both the 'Draft' and 'Launching' states. Campaigns in the 'Draft' and 'Launching' states have never become 'Active.'
- When a campaign is initially created, the campaign will be in the 'Draft' state.
- While in the 'Draft' state, admins can configure the settings for the campaign, including end dates, campaign open hours, phone number selection, and more.
- After all the selections have been made, the campaign can be launched, at which point phone numbers will be associated with the campaign, and for US campaigns, have its 10DLC information provisioned with carriers. This is the 'Launching' state.
- If a campaign has encountered an error during 'Launching' and cannot move forward, it will become a 'Draft' campaign again. Campaigns that have failed to launch can reattempt launching by clicking the "Launch" button. If a campaign has failed because there are not enough phone numbers to provision, please add more numbers (or larger geographic areas) to your area code selection.
- If a campaign is in the 'Launching' state for more than 4 hours or fails to launch more than once, reach out to support@getthru.io.
- Click the three vertical dots under "Details" to Delete, Clone, or View a campaign. Drafts can be deleted, whereas any campaigns that have been launched can only be archived to preserve important data.
- Campaigns in "Draft" and "Launching" states can be differentiated by opening the campaign and checking the status on each Campaign Details page.
Paused Campaign Index Page
Campaigns in the 'Inactive' state are previously 'Active' campaigns that have been paused by an admin.
- Only an 'Active' campaign can be paused and moved into the 'Inactive' state.
- Pausing an active campaign will remove the campaign from a user's Assignments page and will pause all messaging on any open conversations.
- Pausing a campaign is also required to edit the initial message on an active campaign.
- Once a paused campaign is unpaused, and after the message sender refreshes their page, the campaign will appear in their Assignments, and messaging can be resumed. The campaign will move from the Paused Campaign Overview page to the Active Campaign Overview page.
Campaign Icons
Paused campaigns will show icons to indicate they are paused.
Clicking this icon will show a message indicating the campaign is paused
Paused: Campaign is currently paused.
Archived Campaign Index page
'Archived' campaigns have had their phone numbers removed, and messages cannot be sent or received on campaigns
- Archiving a campaign is the final step in a campaign.
- Archiving a campaign is an irreversible action that concludes all message sending.
- 'Archived' campaigns cannot be unarchived.
- No data is lost when you archive a campaign, as you can still run exports from them.
- There are many good reasons to archive your active campaigns routinely. It keeps your Active Campaigns page and your message sender’s Assignments page much more organized. It also releases the phone number attached to the campaign, which helps to prevent a user from reaching the maximum limit of 49 phone numbers per 10DLC use case.
Auto Archiving
Campaigns will be automatically archived if there isn't any activity in the past 30 days. If a campaign's Auto Archive date is less than seven days away, admins will see a tag underneath the campaign's name. Admins may choose to archive the campaign now, or send a message to restart the 30 day Auto Archive clock.
