Holiday Hours, MMS Followups, and Automations Testing

As we wrap up another impactful year, we’ve got a few updates to help your team finish strong. From new MMS capabilities for your Giving Day campaigns to a sneak peek at our upcoming Automations feature, there’s plenty to look forward to before the holidays. We’ve also included our adjusted support hours to help you plan ahead.

MMS for Followup Campaigns

We’re excited to announce that MMS is now available for ThruText Followup campaigns, just in time for Giving Day 2025! Followups let you send additional messages to people in an existing ThruText campaign, either everyone or a targeted segment, without creating a new campaign or changing numbers. This means you can start with a plain SMS, an image, or video to kick off Giving Day, then send a followup later with new media, like a progress graphic or thank-you video, all in the same thread.

Coming Soon: Automations for End-of-Year Texting!

We’re getting ready to launch a new Automations system that can programmatically send your first replies in a conversation! Keyword-initiated automated replies will save your team valuable time during busy giving and outreach seasons.


Before we release it widely, we’re looking for a few testers to try it out during end-of-year campaigns. If you’d like early access to Automations and can share feedback, sign up to be part of our testing group!

Adjusted Holiday Support Hours

To ensure our team gets time to recharge, the GetThru Customer Experience Team will have adjusted hours for the upcoming holiday period.

  • Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 27, 2025
  • Christmas Eve & Day: Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25, 2025
  • New Year’s Day: Thursday, January 1, 2026


Adjusted Hours: 11 am - 7 pm ET
