10DLC and ThruText clients based outside the US
Brand and Use Case Registration is required for all customers in the United States to comply with 10DLC carrier guidelines.
Entities outside the US that are not texting US numbers are not required to complete the Brand and Use Case Registration.
If your organization is outside the US but plans to text US numbers, please contact our Success team at success@getthru.io.
- Canadian Clients: Please enter your Canadian Corporation Number, which may be federal or provincial. Please do NOT enter your business number or federal tax ID number, as that is not readily cross-referenced. This is only required if you will be texting US phone numbers.
- European and APAC Clients: Please enter the numeric portion of your VAT ID number. Automated VAT identification matching is currently optimized for your country. This is only required if you will be texting US phone numbers.
- UK Clients: Please provide the primary corporation registration number or Tax ID number for your country. This is only required if you will be texting US phone numbers.
NOTE - UK clients texting UK contacts will need to register for Know Your Customer (KYC), which is a separate regulatory framework than 10DLC.
