Directory of Targets

PatchThru lets your ThruTalk callers transfer contacts to external targets like elected officials or campaign staff during a live call. Use the PatchThru Directory to create and manage the “targets” your callers can transfer to. This guide shows you where to find the directory, how to add targets, and how to edit or remove them.

Directory Overview

The PatchThru Directory can be accessed from the left sidebar under ThruTalk Tools.

  1. PatchThru Targets: Shows required columns (Name, Phone, Target Type) for every target, plus optional columns (Title, District, State) when provided.
  2. New Target: Click New Target to add a target, complete the fields, then click Create Target.
  3. Search Box: Find targets by any field (Name, Phone, Target Type, Title, District, or State).
  4. Actions: Edit or Delete a target.


Create a New Target

A PatchThru target is the person or phone number your callers can connect a contact to during a live ThruTalk call. You’ll create targets here in the PatchThru Directory, then attach them to your ThruTalk campaigns when you’re ready to launch. Click New Target. In the New Target modal, enter:

  1. Name (Required): The target's name.
  2. Phone Number (Required): The target's phone number.
  3. Extension (Optional): The phone extension, if needed.
  4. Target Type (Required): The category that best fits the type of target.
  5. Title (Optional): The title for the target, if applicable.
  6. District (Optional): The district of the target, if applicable.
  7. State (Optional): The target's state, if applicable.
  8. Create Target: Once you have added the target details, click Create Target to add the target to the directory. Once that step is completed, a Target created confirmation pop-up will display.
