Connect using a number that differs from your User Profile
When making calls in ThruTalk, you can change your calling phone number before beginning. In this guide, we will share the step-by-step instructions for how to make this change.
Note: This is the number that ThruTalk will call to establish a calling session. By default, this number is the one attached to your GetThru.app user profile.
To change the number that is attached to your User Profile permanently, follow steps in our Editing Your Profile guide.
Step 1
Select "Use a different phone number" when prompted for how you would like to make calls.
Step 2
Input the number that you want to use for calling and click "Use This Phone Number."
Step 3
After clicking the "Use This Phone Number" option, you will be redirected back to the "How would you like to make calls?" page, where you can then select "Connect with my phone."
