What are Recommended Replies?

When you’re texting with a lot of contacts, it can be time-consuming to type the same reply over and over. Recommended & Saved replies are pre-written responses created by admins and made available to all texters in an assignment. These replies help maintain consistent messaging and save time when responding to common questions.

This guide will walk you through using and creating new replies from the messenger, aka the texting interface.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

You can send Recommended Replies from the Messenger. To open the Messenger, click Messenger in the top right, then select an assignment.

  2. Search Bar: Use this to search for keywords in the reply's title or body (5).
  3. Expand Reply: Click the caret, or arrow, next to a reply to expand it and preview the message body (5).
  4. Add Reply: Click the plus sign next to the reply to add it to the message editor (7).
  5. Reply Body: This is the content that will appear in the message editor after you click Add (4).
  6. Globe Icon: This indicates a global reply. These replies are available for every assignment/campaign in your account, whereas other replies are specific to an assignment.
  7. Message Editor: After clicking Add on a reply, you'll see it appear in the message editor, where you can customize or tweak it as needed.

How to Use My Replies

Unlike Recommended Replies, which are created by admins and available to all texters in an assignment, My Replies are personal replies that you create yourself. These are only visible to you. For example, if you frequently end your conversations by thanking contacts, you can save that message as a reply and reuse it whenever needed.

Creating Personal Replies

To create a saved reply, scroll down the Replies tab and click + New Reply.

Use the radio buttons to indicate whether you want the reply to be specific to This Campaign Only or Global. Choosing Global makes the reply available in every assignment where you're a Sender.

Next, enter a title and type the text you want in the body, and click Save.

After saving, your reply will appear under My Replies. You can:

  1. Sort: Sort your replies by the title or by whether it is a campaign or global reply.
  2. Expand Reply: Expand it to preview the full message.
  3. Add Reply: Insert the reply into the message editor by clicking the plus sign.
  4. Edit/Delete Reply: Click the three vertical dots to open options to Edit or Delete the reply.
